Community Improvement Through Leadership: Esteban Rojas' Initiative
Esteban Rojas dedicates his extra time to enhancing the local fishing pond managed by the Lions Club. His efforts involve cleaning up trash, removing weeds, and repairing nearby roads. This initiative began as a project in his Leadership class this semester, driven by his vision that “the pond could potentially attract more visitors to fish and enjoy the scenery.”
To further this project, Esteban enlisted the support of friends, and he continues to work diligently whenever weather conditions permit. The progress made on the property instills a sense of pride in him, and he warmly invites others who value the fishing pond to join him in these efforts.
