Bike to School Day 2018

Holyoke Elementary students joined with kids across the United States to celebrate Bike to School Day on May 9. Holyoke students rode bikes and scooters in a loop around the neighborhood. Local police blocked off the road to traffic and helped to monitor the riders. Emergency Medical Technicians from Melissa Memorial Hospital were on hand to treat minor scrapes and bruises.  Several high school students volunteered to pedal special needs students in multi-passenger bikes provided by Mr. Stumpf.
