On Thursday, August 30, 2018, representatives from Lockheed Martin will visit the school district and lead students and staff in STEM Day (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). The Junior/Senior High School will have their turn in the morning and the 3rd through 6th grade students will have their turn in the afternoon. There will be presentations on aerospace, the planets and missions and internships with Lockheed Martin inside for students. Outside students will participate in water rockets and other STEM activities. Representative Ken Buck (R) Colorado 4th
will hold a roundtable discussion with local business owners over the lunch hour. The staff and students are excited to have this opportunity to explore STEM possibilities.
