Safety Tips
Walk or ride your bike in groups when possible
Walk or ride your bike on designated sidewalks, do not travel through ally’s or on the street
Do not talk to strangers
Never get in a vehicle with someone you don’t know
If you are approached by a stranger or asked to get into a vehicle with someone you don’t know come back to the school, go to the nearest home and ring the doorbell, go into the nearest business and report the event to an adult. If you have a cell phone call 911, call your parent/guardian
If someone tries to force you into a vehicle scream, yell, kick, hit and run to the nearest home or business
Before school starts, in the evening or over the weekend have your parents time how long it should take you to walk or ride your bike from the school home so everyone has an idea of when they should expect you home each day.
Call or text your parent/guardian when you arrive home so they know that you made it safe
Do not go to a friends house, to the park or attend a Jr/Sr High activity without your parent/guardian’s permission so they know where you are at and when they can expect you home
