Fifty-seven Holyoke Future Business Leaders traveled to Northeastern Junior College on Thursday, February 2, where they competed against almost 500 students for top honors to qualify for State competition. While there, members attended an opening session, competed in live presentations and attended workshops including “Speed Dating Interviews” put on by Ben Kleve, and “How to Build Your Leadership”, put on by Tayla Martin, both District 4 officers.
At the completion of workshops and competitions, members enjoyed listening to a keynote speaker before the awards. The top 10 in each category were recognized, with members placing in the top 4 or 5 qualifying for State FBLA on April 5-7 at the Gaylord in Denver, Colorado.
